Who is WorldStrides?
WorldStrides was founded in 1967 and is the global leader in educational travel and experiences. Each year, more than 550,000 travelers of all ages embark on our curated travel experiences. In addition to Learn by Adventure, which is geared toward adults, we offer experiential learning programs in educational travel, language immersion, performing arts, service-learning, career exploration, study abroad, and sports that allow student travelers to see the world—and themselves—in new ways. Do you need to be vaccinated to go on the trip?
We do not require you to have a COVID-19 vaccination to travel with Learn by Adventure, although we highly recommend that our program participants are vaccinated. However, note that depending on your destination, local restrictions may require you to provide proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test result within 72 hours. It is up to the traveler to research these guidelines and mandates ahead of travel. Any updates to our policies are designed to keep our travelers safe will be shared with you as we approach your trip. Note, all of our health and safety protocols are informed by CDC and WHO guidelines under the guidance of our Medical Director and his team of physicians at The George Washington University Department of Medicine.
What is the refund policy?
Should you need to cancel, a refund following our standard cancellation policy will be provided. If the trip falls under exceptional circumstances, Learn by Adventure will provide you a refund less any non-refundable fees. Can someone book a trip with me?
Absolutely! You’re able to travel with as many friends and family members as you would like. Additionally, we offer double-occupancy pricing if you choose to share a room. You’ll be able to add all of your travelers in the payment portal when you sign up for your adventure.
Do you make meal accommodations?
We make every effort to meet the dietary needs of all our travelers, provided the request is submitted at least two weeks prior to the start of your adventure. You'll have the opportunity to make any special dietary requests when you complete your Traveler Information Form. While we will do our best, Learn by Adventures is not responsible for any problems associated with food allergies or dietary requirements and restrictions. Can children go on these trips?
At this time, our Learn by Adventure programs are only for adults over the age of 18. We expect to offer trips in the future that can accommodate children, so let one of our specialists know your desires and please continue to check back for family-friendly travel.
